If You executing cat /proc/interrupts more that once, did You obtain different results = does Your irqs (next by sdhci, timer, i8042, libata, ...) continuously changing IRQ to high numbers - is it correct behaviour? What dmesg says if Your removing and inserting card? OK, last question. Does Your card reader work when You boot with acpi=off option (in this mode - what are Your cat /proc/interrupts and dmesg | grep -i sdhc and what dmesg says if Your removing and inserting card?)?
