I have exectly the smae Problem. The full Verion coe of my notebook is
HP G62 b08EG CPU: Intel Core i3 M350 GPU: ATI Mobile Radeon HD 5470 + Intel HD Graphics RAM: 4GB DDR3 Hard Drive: 320 GB (SATA) ubuntu 11.04 isn't starting anyway, even with pressing f6 setting everything on off/no I used the Daily Build of Ubuntu with CD installation and USB-HD but the result is the same. Then installed ubuntu 10.10 and updated to 11.04 and the same ubuntu is stopping while booting. For notice: maybe it is the same Problem i have with ubuntu versions smaller then 11.04. I can't install the Ati drivers. it seems fglrx will is not starting.
