hi Chenheting, i have the same issue, I mean this issue is so randomly:
sometimes with white screen but it goes to plymouth, sometimes black or white screen then no plymouth but goes to gdm, sometimes I can hear the hard disk/LED as if it goes to normaly booting but then nothing.
