I'm getting video tearing on an Asus EEE PC 901 using compiz+unity. I've tried xv, gl, gl2 as video outputs for mplayer which all result in video tearing. There is no video tearing if I use xv:adaptor=1 (video overlay) as video output.
I have "sync to vblank" set in ccsm/opengl. Let me know what else I can do to help fix this bug. Thanks.
