Since I have been testing Feisty (Herd 4) my laptop (HP NX6125) has
failed to shutdown properly.
Symptoms: X closes but then the splash screen/progress bar flickers and
the machine still displays HDD activity long after it should have
finished, until I tap the power button. Power off is only achieved by
the power button 5 second death hold :(
