@Cari, many thanks. I was able to reproduce this following these exact steps:
1) Get the file and open it for editing: $ wget https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/766254/+attachment/2071486/+files/Pastoriaus%20Mozes%20tarnavimai%202k.doc $ lowriter Pastoriaus\ Mozes\ tarnavimai\ 2k.doc 2) Select "Edit > Select All", change font size to 14 3) Select "File > Export > XHTML" ( from the list proposed at the bottom ), click "Save" 4) Try to exit LibreOffice writer with Ctrl-Q, this will propose to save - click "Save" 5) Choose "Keep current format" for the next question 6) The following information is displayed as LibO writer crashes while exiting. The crash is apparent as multiple dialogs prompt to send a bug report. $ lowriter Pastoriaus\ Mozes\ tarnavimai\ 2k.doc $ Warning: at xsl:stylesheet on line 58 of file:///usr/lib/libreoffice/basis3.3/share/xslt/export/xhtml/opendoc2xhtml.xsl: Running an XSLT 1.0 stylesheet with an XSLT 2.0 processor # # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00007f97bdb07330, pid=5719, tid=140289746655040 # # JRE version: 6.0_22-b22 # Java VM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (20.0-b11 mixed mode linux-amd64 compressed oops) # Derivative: IcedTea6 1.10.1 # Distribution: Ubuntu Natty (development branch), package 6b22-1.10.1-0ubuntu1 # Problematic frame: # C [libsvllx.so+0x82330] SvNumberFormatsSupplierObj::SetNumberFormatter(SvNumberFormatter*)+0x0 # # An error report file with more information is saved as: # /home/magicfab/Documents/hs_err_pid5719.log # # If you would like to submit a bug report, please include # instructions how to reproduce the bug and visit: # https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/ # [error occurred during error reporting , id 0xb] -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/766254 Title: LibreOffice writer crashes at exit after .DOC is modified and exported to HTML -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
