Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

I made a .desktop file pointing to my ~ folder. I selected a custom icon
for it from /usr/share/pixmap. I then dragged the .desktop file to the
launcher. It was added alright, but the custom icon did not follow.
Instead, a generic "file" icon appeared.
