Yes, i have upgraded from maveric like few days ago and while using maveric I actually never had a crash or freeze before so this happened only after upgrade, though I doubt it could be a crash from previous boot since I'v shut down the pc normaly the day before and after booting up in the morning and did a regular morning sudo apt-get update & sudo apt-get upgrade and used the PC sucessfully up to that moment.
