I'm pretty sure this upstream commit pretty much fixes things, or at
least it fixes the same issue for a number of mobile devices:

I'll include the patch and mark it as fixing this bug as I strongly
believe it will; but please don't hesitate to reopen if it's found that
there's still part of it missing. (Sorry, I can't test this myself, I
don't own an Ericsson F3507g)
