I'm pretty sure this upstream commit pretty much fixes things, or at least it fixes the same issue for a number of mobile devices:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/commit/?h=NM_0_8&id=d0a1b23ea1803fc46567af4bb38d0078c873c357 I'll include the patch and mark it as fixing this bug as I strongly believe it will; but please don't hesitate to reopen if it's found that there's still part of it missing. (Sorry, I can't test this myself, I don't own an Ericsson F3507g) ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #647216 https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=647216 ** Also affects: network-manager via https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=647216 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/756553 Title: Ericsson F3507g WWAN no way to power it off -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
