Should I create a new issue for the unrelated problem?
Can I somehow to a test to reproduce these issues? on the console?

This is what I have on the console

axeja@smlwx010:~$ export | grep proxy
declare -x ftp_proxy="ftp://localhost:3128/";
declare -x http_proxy="http://localhost:3128/";
declare -x https_proxy="https://localhost:3128/";

which all point to my cntlm, no idea in what config file those are set
though

but the "Network Proxy Preferences" is set to Autoconfiguration URL:
http://foo.bar:3132/
The manual proxy configuration does point to cntlm but it is not selected in
the tool
