It seems that upgrading some version of python-numpy that moved all the
python files to pyshared left a whole lot of .pyc files around in
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/numpy/ that were confusing other python
users of numpy.

I ran "sudo rm -r /usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/numpy/" and pytrainer
got past that error.
