in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf get's overwritten in Natty in the file: /usr/lib/pm-utils/power.d/intel-audio-powersave I changed the line INTEL_AUDIO_POWERSAVE=${INTEL_AUDIO_POWERSAVE:-true} to INTEL_AUDIO_POWERSAVE=false Now Natty keeps the hda_intel adapter power_save settings as desired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381201 Title: snd-hda-intel powersave option and "CLICK" from speakers -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
