Hans Peter Schwob, this issue is not reproducible with LibreOffice Writer via the Terminal:
cd ~/Desktop && wget https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/561461/+attachment/1899332/+files/Steinzellen%20in%20Birnen.odt && lowriter -nologo Steinzellen\ in\ Birnen.odt Notice the words: Steinzellen in Birnen are in Style Heading 1. This creates some space between the end of the top margin and the top of these words (~0.5 cm). Click Format -> Page... notice that Top Combo box is 0.79" (2.0066 centimeters) -> click Cancel button -> File -> Print... -> Print button While I did not have a ruler I printed it out and placed it on my computer screen and it looks to be 2.5 cm from top of the paper to top of the words "Steinzellen in Birnen". If a printing incorrect upper margin problem exists I don't see it. If you print out this file, no workarounds, what is the distance from the top of the paper to top of the words "Steinzellen in Birnen"? lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.10 Release: 10.10 apt-cache policy libreoffice-writer libreoffice-writer: Installed: 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2~maverick1 Candidate: 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2~maverick1 Version table: *** 1:3.3.2-1ubuntu2~maverick1 0 500 http://ppa.launchpad.net/libreoffice/ppa/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Also affects: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/561461 Title: Printing with incorrect upper margin -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
