Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager-vpnc
Forgive my ignorance of the correct terminology, but I believe I'm stating this correctly. My vpnc configuration uses the following lines: Target networks 10.10.3.33 DNSUpdate no This has always worked for me in the past. However, NetworkManager (and NM-vpnc) has no option to disable the update to DNS servers. So, when I connect and then cat /etc/resolv.conf I get a DNS server internal to my company, not my local DNS (that is used when the vpn is not connected). I saw bug 88073, and it asked for a new bug report with a specific use case. I am working from home, and do not wish for all of my network traffic to go over the vpn, just the remote desktop session that I use to connect to my work. Thanks, and great work so far! ** Affects: network-manager-vpnc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- DNSUpdate option is missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/107358 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
