This bug still affects me with freshly updated ubuntu natty beta 1. Version of bamfdaemon is 0.2.84-0ubuntu2 and opera is 11.01.1190. Also, there is no 'TryExec' line in '/usr/share/applications/opera-widget- installer.desktop' - this is only a shortcut to the command '/usr/bin/opera -widget %f' so the proposed workaround doesn't work for me.
