Hmm, I'm probably still missing something: stgraber@ubuntu:~$ cat /proc/cmdline BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.38-8-server root=UUID=60dd09e3-d77f-467e-ac05-2560cae12c19 ro stgraber@ubuntu:~$ cat /var/log/boot.log fsck from util-linux-ng 2.17.2 /dev/vda1: clean, 63133/607200 files, 299940/2428672 blocks * Starting AppArmor profiles [ OK ] Starting memcached: memcached. stgraber@ubuntu:~$
That's after removing quiet from the boot parameters in /etc/default/grub + running update-grub. (Also, any reason the verboseness of what appears on the screen at boot time changes the content of a log file ? just seems weird to me) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/752393 Title: lsb init scripts show line buffering problems on bootup -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
