I haven't booted that computer today, and won't be able to until tonight,
but yesterday it did finally recognize the internet on its own. I booted it
up three times, and each time it worked properly. I did send off an email
about this yesterday to Ubuntu. I hope this luck continues. I'll be happy to
send another confirmation message tonight.
