Public bug reported: Binary package hint: banshee
When creating smart playlists with "File location" filter and "contains" option, Banshee has some problems if the term you want to match is in cyrillics (that is, when folders' names are in cyrillics). Expected behaviour: - new smart playlist is created and all songs with the chosen term in their path are matched. What actually happens: - if the folder contains a capital letter (e.g. "Песме"), no songs are matched (everything is OK if you omit the first letter from the matching term and use the remaining lower case ones, e.g. "есме" ) - if the folder's name is in all caps, no songs are matched (typing the term in lower case doesn't match any songs either) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: banshee 1.9.6-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-8.41-generic 2.6.38.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic x86_64 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: amd64 Date: Thu Apr 7 12:46:47 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.04 "Natty Narwhal" - Beta amd64 (20110330) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=sr:en_US:en PATH=(custom, user) LANG=sr_RS.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: banshee UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: banshee (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug natty running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/753409 Title: problems with smart playlists and cyrillics in file location -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
