This is Linux fx-home 2.6.20-15-generic #2 SMP Sun Apr 15 07:36:31 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux, which is more recent than when I made the report, but suffers the same.
I seem to have failed to report also that networking is broken on resume too. Perhaps that's related. It also worked in edgy, but now I have to do an ifdown/ifup after resuming.
