I have same problem. Effect starts eg viewing a youtube video, then the video bleeds through any fully black pixel. -- occurs even while the video is playing, you can watch the video it through any black object (eg viewing an all black image in an image viewer)
Killing firefox doesn't clear the buffer. Reboot does. Turned off compiz, but no change even after reboot.
