Public bug reported:
I've succesfully installed Fiesty beta on my Core 2 Duo E6400 2,13 GHz (2048kB)
1066MHz Socket 775 Box; motherboard PGA775 P-IV i965Q Intel DQ965GFEKR that is
known to have ide controller problems with linux. However, I read that this
motherboard is fully supported since 2.6.19 kernel.
Anyway, after installation it shows my dvd-rom (Nec CB-100 IDE) as 'CD-ROM 1'
in nautilus, ignores if I put cd or dvd in and returns the error "Unable to
mount the selected volume. mount: special device /dev/scd0 does not exist" when
I select 'Mount Volume' in the context menu.
