RodrigoMoraes, This page <https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Java> has some good info on changing the default Java to use (without uninstalling OpenJDK). Although, you would still have to set JAVA_HOME to make jedit use the Sun JVM until #681936 <https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/jedit/+bug/681936> is fixed.
