Public bug reported: Binary package hint: emacs-goodies-el
Dear Guys, I am using a snapshot version of emacs that I installed on an ubuntu 10.10 system from your apt repository (http://emacs.naquadah.org/) It is dated 2011-03-09. Anyway, there is apparently a bug there as calling linum-mode from inside the toggle-options command can only turn on the mode but does nothing to turn it off, although there is a message stating that the function "linum-mode" was called in the Message Buffer. The same emacs config file works on emacs 23.3 and executing that command actually toggles the linum mode. I attach my .emacs file.
