Public bug reported: Case: Trying to shut down computer with Spotify (a Qt based music app) running.
What I expect to happen: Computer terminates program and shutdowns gracefully. What happens: Spotify window disappears (traybar icon still remains). Shutting down the computer a second time works. One can argue that this probably is a bug on Spotify's part, but either way Ubuntu shouldn't just hide the window and sit there.. Happens in at least Maverick and Natty (I think it affects all versions, but those are the two which I've tried). ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: shutdown spotify ** Tags added: shutdown spotify -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/738117 Title: Spotify prevents Ubuntu from shutting down on first try -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
