although I got no feedback on this one at all, it seems these tabs have now been fixed with everything I suggested. I assume then that the problem was already known or documented in another Bug. Ether way I can confirm this is fixed, although I think the Tabs are so dark now they don't stand out (but that is a personal pref thing) Happy for this to be closed.
