Hi Ubuntu Team!

I received today's (4/14) updates and my internet still won't come on
automatically, like it did for the previous version of Ubuntu. Feisty seems
to have a bug here. I've got my system, as it did before, set for "direct
connection" to access my AT&T DSL, and the network is set for DCHP. I still
have to manually click on the double-monitor icon near the clock and select
"wired network" before the internet will work. The overall package seems to
be working pretty great, but this internet issue. I think, is pretty major
too. I read that Feisty Fawn won't be a Beta after April 19th, but I truly
believe that this issue needs to be cleaned up before you can say it's done.
Why isn't it detecting the internet as it's booting up? If you have an
questions you need to ask me, please feel free to do so.
