I installed KDE. At the end of the session, the machine get fully stuck! I see a pop-up that tells that the logout has benn stopped by /usr/bin/soffice/quickstart (or something similar) After that.. the machine i "lost". The only way to swicht it off, is the HW pushbutton.! Well.. afer taht I removed the AWN, completely. Back to Gnome.. The same issue! What I notice is that the "shutdown" start, few windows went close (skype for instance), then.. it seems it stop to continue to shutdown... At that point I can only use a command from the terminal like halt, shutdown, reboot... but I loose all the session configurations... Pse consider I have 2 more PC with Ubuntu and gnome: both are FINE!! 1 is a eeePC with 10.10 Remix 1 is a laptop, Asus, with 10.10, gnome, AWN (perfect!) but. it's a 32bit, not a 64 lie the main machine with all that troubles. How can we go further? I look forward for your comments and help! Many thanks!
