@Christopher M. Penalver. Hi. I've tried the steps of installing Ubuntu 10.04 on a VM (VirtualBox) and ran the latest update against 10.04. I tested OpenOffice Draw and worked fine.
Then I upgraded to 10.10, ran the test again and worked fine. I followed the steps that you suggested to install LibreOffice Draw. After following that install I ran the test and it was working fine. I'm not sure what happened in the past when it did fail, but I believe it was related to a config item under ~/.openoffice.org profile that will have triggered the crash. I wish I kept a copy of that profile so that it can be analysed for what caused the crash. Anyway, if anyone else faces a similar issue then the resolution is to close any instance of OpenOffice, remove the ~/openoffice.org profile (rm ~/openoffice.org), and open OpenOffice again. This will fix the problem. If anyone wishes to help with this matter before resolving their issue, please make a copy of their ~/openoffice.org profile and send it across. I'll keep this in mind myself if I am faced with this issue again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/674144 Title: OpenOffice Draw crashes on changing the Page properties to Landscape -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
