I downloaded and extracted a clean eclipse helios release from
http://www.eclipse.org/.
To reproduce, do:
1)
Start eclipse
2)
Open the "Navigator" view
3)
Mark two files and right click them > "Compare with ..." > "Each other"
Eclipse crashes imediately.
