As I needed OOo, I tried different things : - reinstall Java (Sun) : same problem - reinstall OOo 3.2 : same problem - remove OOo and install LibreOffice : OK when opening a form, but problems on the form (no tool bar : buttons previous, next, ...), LO removed, no time to investigate. - install OOo 3.3 : same problem - delete ~/.openoffice.org directory : OK, OOo Base works perfectly, but far slower than OOo 3.2 ...
So, what I suppose is that some update in OOo or Java modified some thing / link / library / ... that is not updated in ~/.openoffice.org I already had this problem on one previous OOo update a long time ago, but this time, I did not notice the update that has been done by Ubuntu.
