Thanks for reporting this issue, Wayne; I too reacted to that menu label. A solution is available in lp:~gunnarhj/gnome-session/lp-730382, which is proposed to be merged. Chose to just suggest the addition of a plural 's'. Think that's sufficient, and also easier to translate in some cases than "effects disabled".
