If you are experiencing this bug with the absolute latest daily-live CD, please do the following: - Boot the CD and press "Try Ubuntu". - Edit /lib/partman/lib/base.sh and put "set -x" on the second line. - Open a terminal and run "ubiquity -d". - Proceed through the installer until it hangs, at which point run "apport-collect 723990" - Also attach the output of "ps auxf" to this bug report once the installer is hanging.
