Dennis Jarosch said 23 hours ago: I had the same problem and this is how I fixed it: * shutdown NetworkManager, e.g. with 'sudo kill -2'. * backup your /etc/network/interfaces: sudo mv /etc/network/interfaces /etc/network/interfaces_bak * restart NetworkManager: sudo /usr/sbin/NetworkManager --pid-file /var/run/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.pid ------------------------- However after sometime the same problem persists and the icon indicates that there is no network connection while there is. Have to Disable/Enable the network time and again when this happens... -- gnome network manager icon not connected, but there is a connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/105243 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
