It is ok for lines like "This word is <b>bold</b>". But in lines where it is 
wrapping the full string it shouldn't be exposed to the translators. Is it 
really that much of a problem for the programmers to make it "<b>"+_("Personal 
details")+"<b>" ?
It adds unnecessary complexity for the ~50 translators when it's there.

Of cause every one wound be happy if the toolkit you use was smart
enough to do this, so maybe it should be dealt with there.
