Hi Herton, Thanks so much for the test kernels. I tested them and found that rc3 works but rc4 doesn't. As part of my "binary search", rc2 was found to be good as well, and rc5, as well as -1 (linux-image-2.6.34-1) are bad as well.
So the problem appeared between rc3 and rc4. Hopefully the set of changes between those two releases will be manageable.
