*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 104125 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/104125
This bug has been marked as a duplicate, but it's not clear to me the bug linked to is identical. This isn't another "all of my hda drives became sda drives" complaint, and the boot errors in Derek Chen-Becker is encountering are not the same as mine. I should have been more specific. He says his filesystem mounts read only. I never get to the point of mounting a filesystem. I get stuck with those kernel errors on the screen and I can't do anything, no login, no dump to a root shell, nada. I think I left it on for a long time once and it dumped me at BusyBox. I only see one maybe two lines of other text outputted from the kernel before it starts the error flood. -- Feisty kernel 2.6.20-13 -> 2.6.20-14 ATA regression, can't boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/104878 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
