Thanks again for review. I'm also unable to reproduce it. I've killed conky, purge, reinstall, apt-mark showauto is now negative and description now says it isn't auto installed. $ aptitude show conky-all Package: conky-all State: installed Automatically installed: no Version: 1.8.0-1ubuntu1
Wish I'd comprehend how the procedure works when I get two different results. I thought conky-all is a standalone app, if it is a dependency, I wonder which package does flag it as autoremovable? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/708803 Title: [Maverick] autoremove removes package which is required -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
