Slightly confusing bug - 'fix committed' and in the linked dupe a 'fix released' In any event it is not fixed as of aptdaemon ...bzr586 While it is possible to install a local <whatever>.deb w/ SC, it must be in the apt-cache, otherwise the install will fail as noted in the various bug reports
