Hi Kristian, Thank you for your reply.
I will try to give you more information. It starts when I start Amarok. My system monitor goes straight up to 100% Altough in my processes list there isn't any program that consumes a lot of cpu power. Not even Amarok. Amarok starts with updating it's collection. I have one map that is in my collection. This map has many underlying maps but none of them are maps that are updated because of downloads applications or anything. They remain unchanged. As operating system I use Feisty Fawn, the beta version; It's only been since installing this I've been having this problem. It takes amarok about 50 seconds to update it's collection. Then after 13 seconds it starts again. While updating the cpu consumed goes up to 55 or 60 %. But my monitor remains pretty filled to 100%. I've tried to uncheck the "Watch folders for change." But that doesn't solve the problem. I'm quite certain it's amarok because I've been able to get the same effects every time I run amarok. The strange thing is that when I quit Amarok my cpu power remains high. And it visibly slows my computer down. <html><DIV> <DIV> </DIV></DIV></html> >From: Kristian Hermansen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: Bug 104968 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: [Bug 104968] Re: Amarok consumes 100% Processorpower >Date: Tue, 10 Apr 2007 04:44:03 -0000 > >I am unable to reproduce this using amarok 1.4.5-0ubuntu7.
