Ok so after disabling Pulseaudio and switching to ALSA using this guide: http://www.jeffsplace.net/node/12
After a couple extra tweaks sound is working pretty much perfect, the bug is gone. I think this confirms that the bug is in PulseAudio and since no other distro's are effected it's something Ubuntu specifically does to PulseAudio. Anyways I'm happy, still want to find a fix but at least it's something. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/661885 Title: After booting all sound is loud until the volume slider is slightly moved then sound works like normal until rebooting -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
