hi Joshua O 'Leary, I have checked your screenshot. There is a bug mentioned in context with plymouth. This happens quite often! The best thing is, to deactivate plymouth.
What you can try: deactivate plymouth and try to reboot. Does this panic happen again?? Please give notice.
