Santosh Krishnan, thank you for reporting this bug and helping make Ubuntu better. In Ubuntu 11.04 perform at the Terminal:
cd ~/Desktop && wget https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/705838/+attachment/1801604/+files/Live_A_Life_That_Matters.pps && loimpress -nologo Live_A_Life_That_Matters.pps Immediately upon file opening click ESC and notice LibreOffice Impress does not crash it just closes. As per Microsoft ( http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint-help/create-and- distribute-a-self-running-powerpoint-presentation-HA001034817.aspx ) this is by design as a .pps (PowerPoint Show) file is supposed to only open in Slide Show view and not allow editing. Marking Invalid. Thank you again for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please submit any future bugs you may find. ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/705838 Title: OpenOffice Impress crashes when I hit ESC key to exit fullscreen slideshow of some presentations -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
