This problem has reappeared with "Ubuntu Firefox Modifications 0.9rc2" to Firefox 3.6.13 on Ubuntu 10.04. Disabling this add-on fixes the problem, else all users see Ask.com as the only search engine. I must agree with others that this is a very annoying bug, as it is not at all obvious how to fix it. Is there really enough value in this add-on to compensate for all the problems it appears to cause?
