Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mutt
http://www.mail-archive.com/mutt-users@mutt.org/msg32520.html I use mutt on Feisty (ubuntu). When connecting to gmail using pops, mutt connects to the server and asks my password. After I enter it, I see the following error message: tls_socket_read (A TLS packet with unexpected length was received.) I googled a bit and saw that it is GNUTLS which causes the problem and rebuilding mutt with openssl solves the problem. Is there any way other than building mutt from source? I have replicated this in the most current fiesty version of mutt (1.5.13-1ubuntu1). ** Affects: mutt (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- mutt - TLS packet with unexpected length https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/105737 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
