Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pulseaudio

I have suffered by bug 445849
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/445849?comments=all).
it was ugly bug with 5.1 surround. 2 years I have distorted highpitched sound
(only on 5.1). finally, some guys fixed that. so, i was happy as hell. thanks!
but now when everything seemed to be ok - my pc is running few minutes (hours?)
- everything is perfect, all of sudden all sound gets messy. f.e. I am watching
a movie and suddenly in all speakers there is some kind of (like) interference
and all sound is raucous. first I thought, it is some kind of interference from
power cable or from wi-fi (since I have moved my computer to another room), but
that is not the case, because my video is also affected. video motion is very
slow (after interference appears), like if my cpu is on 100%, but strange, cpu
is almost 95 % idle! no process eats it! I really do not understand. this is
very weird problem. the sound from all applications (mplayer, totem,
audacious...) is raucous and like "slowed down" (so is video) and there is also
present one frequency tone (even if all audio/video streams are paused). I have
this problem also with stereo and surround (so it is not related to mention bug
445849) speaker settings.
restart of pulseaudio (killall pulseaudio; pulseaudio) does not help. I have to
always restart whole PC. then it is everything ok few minutes, but problem
always occurs.
thanks for you afford.
