Hi Jim. Some good news. After installing the brand new natty alpha 2 (must do that, because last update went wrong and killed my system), shotwell works now fine. All photos are transferd from the camera to the pc. I think, bug is solved in alpha 2 and can be closed. Attached camera.log from natty alpha 2 Bye Mike
