Everything was related to the nvidia-legacy driver which does not enable
correctly (resolution loss... many related bug reports already).
I saw the solution somewhere (don't remember where) :
1- sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg (and added the correct screen
refresh rates)
2- added this at the end of my xorg file :
Section "Extensions"
Option "Composite" "Disable"
