Hi,

It seems to work better, but there are still small interruptions, loss
of contact at times without reconnecting, not in par with Phonostar or
my various web-radios. At times a message tells me, that I should get a
plug-in in order to play a station I have played many times, when
following the instructions I get the message that the required plug-in
does not exist.

Happy to cooperate to get rid of this problem,

Peter

Title:
  Rhythmbox unstable connection with radiostations

Status in “rhythmbox” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I use Ubuntu - the Karmic Koala - released in October 2009 and
  Rhythmbox 0.12.5.

Rhythmbox looses contact with Internet radio-stations - independent of
signal strength, then stops making new attempts at connecting to
  station - I expect stable contact with a radio-station. I listen to
the same stations in other computers and usually the contact is stable
(using Phonostar in Win). Would be nice to sort this out. Peter
