Okay, I don't have a gvm.log file. I don't have a udev.log because when I typed in sudo udevmonitor -e | tee udev.log, just a 0 byte file showed up (waited a good 2 minutes before I broke out of it). I don't have a devices.txt file either (0 byte file like above). I'm using Kubuntu 6.10 "Edgy" with Linux Kernel 2.6.17-11 Generic (standard 32-bit x86 kernel). Here is my dmesg output
