Theres really not enough information here to do much about. I have never
seen console-kit spinning and eating CPU. That doesn't mean there is not a
potential race condition. It is possible that you're seeing bug 649591, but
that was fixed long ago.
Can you please provide some more information on the system that you're
running?
mainly:
- console output (euca-get-console-output or ec2-get-console-output)
- how did you rebundle your image? Do you have all updates applied ?
